The offices of our firm (visible on the picture hereinabove) are located in the building at 47 Nowy Świat Street known as “Saturnin Sikorski Building” (from the name of one of the owners) or the “Wanderer Building” (from the title of sightseeing quarterly journal whose editorial office had been located in the building till 1905). The place has preserved the unique atmosphere of exclusive bourgeois mansion from the end of nineteenth century. In 1861 Teodor Józef Konrad Korzeniowski (1857-1924) lived here. He is better known as the famous writer Joseph Conrad who wrote his masterpieces in English. Between years 1924 – 1929 the composer Karol Szymanowski inhabited in this mansion.
